Drawn to equitable design, Emily excels in realizing high-caliber sports facilities. Her repertoire of buzzworthy projects include the Chase Center and University of Oregon’s Hayward Field. Emily’s leadership is key in growing our sports portfolio, which now features the WNBA’s Seattle Storm Center for Basketball Performance and the University of Washington’s ICA Basketball Training Facility. Bringing technical prowess in steel structures, long-span framing, and vibration analysis, Emily tackles tough design challenges head-on. She always looks to elevate the greater goals of her project teams. Beyond her technical know-how, Emily effectively coaches and mentors younger engineers.
Emily’s passion for the built environment was sparked by her grandpa, former Dean of Architecture at the University of Southern California. Originally from Los Angeles, Emily ventured north for her graduate degree from University of Washington. Emily has been in Seattle ever since, exploring local restaurants and bakeries with her family.
