Associate Principal
James Rosewitz
PE

James knows the overwhelming impact that natural disasters can have on a community. He has centered his career around educating and preparing building owners for these events. His disaster response work after the Christchurch 2011 earthquake gave him an up-close understanding of seismic performance and post-disaster recovery. In the US, James leads Holmes’ building risk evaluation group, educating clients on possible future asset damage and helping them to confidently manage their risks. His inclination for risk management lends itself to his Commercial Manager role within Holmes, for which James oversees internal risk management, the company’s project management process, and the overall health of projects.
An Orange County native living in Oregon, James enjoys running and being outdoors. He and his wife are the proud owners of two abnormally friendly Shiba Inu dogs and bring them along when exploring the Oregon mountains and coasts.
